The message of the song is a reminder that we all deserve a safe haven to express ourselves freely and pursue our dreams and happiness .We are more alike than different in striving for and wanting the same things: happiness, peace, freedom and love. We all want to escape our situation at some point in our lives regardless of our economic circumstances. We should all be treated equally"
